    Damp on the two kitchen-side walls is coming from the neighbouring bathroom wall, not from outside — the patch is at skirting height and dry above 3 ft. Needs treatment before painting or it will surface again. Painted area measures 3,180 sq.ft including ceilings. All three painters asked to price the damp treatment as a separate line so the base figure stays comparable.
